Our society is in a state of upheaval. The challenges of climate change, war, migration, inflation and other issues are creating deep insecurities for many people. The rapid pace of change also leads to excessive demands.

The answers to these challenges are not easy and are fraught with conflict. Democracy means dealing with these conflicts in a solution-oriented and objective way, in a struggle for the best solution. In the end, compromise is the rule, not the exception, as a result of weighing different paths and interests.
Democracy is demanding and takes time.

Anti-democratic and far-right forces deliberately exploit these circumstances. They promise simple solutions to complex problems. But hatred, demagoguery, discrimination, exclusion, violence, threats and intimidation are no solution. They threaten cohesion, prosperity and development of our country.

The situation is serious. It is time to take a stand!

.Join us: Take a stand! In your family, with your friends, at work, at the sports club and in all places of social life. Say no to hate and hate speech. Seek dialogue wherever possible. Build bridges where there are ditches. No matter, where you stand politically, help keep our country democratic!
